Why is Asian art important?
Each of the many civilizations of Asia is represented by outstanding works, providing an unrivaled experience of the artistic traditions of nearly half the world. As Asia becomes ever more important on the world’s stage, the need to understand its diverse cultures and rich history becomes increasingly important.
